What a great first day in DC!!!

Wow, what a great 1st day! Our students are the best. Even though our snow covered roads put us behind on our itinerary, the students and chaperones took it in stride. Today's word of the day was "flexible"! A huge shout out to Sam from Congressman Brett Guthrie's office for getting us in the Capitol Building. One of our best experiences in the House Gallery today. The students saw a true argumentative debate on a bill. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
